Moulding of technical parts made from thermoplastic materials for in-house production and for third parties.
Plastic moulding department: how we work
The moulding department
SIPA’s plastic moulding department is dedicated to the production of small parts and technical items made from thermoplastic materials, whether for the small plastic parts line in our catalogue or for custom plastic moulding projects Our extensive experience in plastic moulding has enabled us to produce durable, functional components suitable for a wide range of applications.
Machinery and processes
Our machine fleet consists of 11 automatic moulding presses with capacities ranging from 50 to 430 tons, supplemented by a 250-ton two-colour moulding machine that uses two different materials or colours simultaneously.
Contract and custom moulding
In addition to its in-house production, SIPA offers a contract plastic moulding service based on drawings, samples, or prototypes, ensuring efficient organisation, process control, and adherence to agreed-upon deadlines.
Strengths of the plastic moulding department
A department organised to ensure high-quality products and workmanship, production flexibility, and fast turnaround times.
Production flexibility and press capacity
Our 11 automatic presses, ranging from 50 to 430 tons, and our 250-ton two-colour press enable us to handle a wide variety of items, materials, and configurations to meet the most diverse production needs.
Custom production and mould management
SIPA produces mouldings based on drawings, samples, or prototypes, including using moulds provided on tooling loan. The customer can retain ownership of the mould, and production and operational management remain within the company.
In-house mould management
The synergy between the moulding department and the in-house mechanical workshop means we can develop and maintain moulds in perfect working order, thereby improving quality, reducing production times, and ensuring a continuous supply of parts, both for our own production and for contract manufacturing.
Machines
Injection moulding machine for plastic moulding
Injection moulding press for thermoplastics, used to produce technical components and small plastic parts withaccuracy, production continuity, and consistent quality.
Automatic plastic moulding press
CNC machine for the automatic moulding of plastic components, ideal for mass production and technical items, even when the shape to be produced requires a very high level of accuracy.
Line with conveyor belt for unloading moulded parts
Plastic moulding line equipped with a conveyor belt for the automatic output of parts, designed to facilitate the collection of components and optimise the internal production flow.
